Paul Fistinyerface Builds a Table
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
On SCTV's low-budget how-to program Paul's Workshop, the burly, bespectacled Paul Fistinyerface can't decide what to make until his jittery assistant Bill steers him from yet another spice rack toward a lunch table for little boys and girls. Paul snaps lumber by hand, jams loose legs into the tabletop and bristles whenever Bill hints that a saw or nails might help, so Bill hurriedly praises every clumsy choice. The wobbly table keeps sprouting legs until the segment runs out of time, and Paul ends the show by pressing Bill to promise he'll be back tomorrow.

Say it with us
Highly quotable.
You think I'm dumb, Bill?
That was real smart, the way you broke that. Most people wouldn't even think of it.
I can build whatever I want.
