The premise
Here’s the bit.
The narrator introduces Simon, an adult cousin whose attempt to make a friend in a toy shop becomes deeply uncomfortable. Simon nevertheless brings a collection of romantic partners to Easter dinner, where his mother’s new boyfriend introduces a men’s lingerie brand. As the narrator wonders whether his bewilderment is really envy, a painful encounter with his own girlfriend and Jack Black brings the lingerie pitch back into his life.
