Green Flags

Convinced after one date that he is all green flags, a woman (Ashley Padilla) goes home with a man (Martin Herlihy) who tours her through his spotless apartment, boasting about his dinner parties, his animal-shelter nonprofit and the spare room he keeps for his mother. She is distracted by a towering Lego Bugs Bunny posed suggestively on his desk, which he flatly denies is there, and his wall of fostered dogs leads to an equally indecent Lego Porky Pig. As she heads for the door, the sketch cuts to an ad for Rent-A-Roommate, a service that supplies professional fake roommates to take the blame for embarrassing Lego collections, but the hired roommate's cover falls apart, and one last statue by the door sends her screaming out of the apartment. Herlihy wrote and directed the short.

Cut for time: according to the Saturday Night Network, this Martin Herlihy film was shown at the dress rehearsals for the Miles Teller (November 1, 2025) and Melissa McCarthy (December 6, 2025) episodes but never aired live. NBC released it online on December 9, 2025. When Herlihy left SNL after season 51, TheWrap called it his most popular standalone sketch.
