The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
A comedy sketch presented as an episode of VH1's "Behind the Music" documenting Blue Öyster Cult's 1976 recording session for "(Don't Fear) The Reaper." The sketch features fictional music producer Bruce Dickinson demanding more cowbell from Gene Frenkle, whose overzealous playing annoys his bandmates but pleases the producer.
