Murder Press Briefing
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
With the city on edge over a possible serial-killer murder, a police chief hands the podium to lead homicide detective Ray Dunham, who refuses to comment on the case. One reporter, Dave Allen, uses every turn at the microphone to complain that DC Comics rejected his graphic novel Gar-Girl, then fishes for the detective's opinion of it. As Dunham grows exasperated, the other reporters get drawn into the comic's lore and one erupts at a colleague who tries to steer things back to the murder. Finally the masked, knife-carrying killer himself joins the press pool to ask about Gar-Girl's origin, and Allen's absurd answer reveals she is a gargoyle who becomes a girl rather than the reverse.

Highly quotable.
Crushes villains by night, crushes on the quarterback by day.
Sounds like a metaphor for puberty.
Okay, well, at least I'll get some reading done.
A little extra
