Friends-giving
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
A neighborhood Friendsgiving dinner pauses for a discussion of holiday music. Two newcomers recognize the same obscure number and start performing it, despite the other diners trying to get back to their meal. A borrowed synthesizer turns their awkward duet into a melodramatic account of a failed romantic encounter, and the skeptics gradually join the singing and dancing. The celebration takes a darker turn when the woman disappears, valuables go missing and one guest discovers a stab wound. Her duet partner keeps singing while the others face the aftermath.
