The premise
Here’s the bit.
Devin’s English lesson with Rosa turns romantic, provoking Stuart’s jealousy as preparations for Thanksgiving get underway. Stuart’s mother visits, and his lawyer Craig arrives with news that he has fathered a baby, taking a lengthy detour through his driving directions before delivering it. The holiday gathering grows more dramatic when Tyler, believed dead in a plane crash, returns with another alarming announcement. Elaborate reactions and arguments about Los Angeles routes repeatedly interrupt the family’s attempts to celebrate.
