The premise

A first-time acupuncture patient stays cheerfully convinced that his treatment is working while Daphne and her supervisor struggle to stop an escalating loss of blood. Their reassurances get increasingly implausible as Megan joins the cleanup and clinic owner Dr. Chang discovers the mess and flees.
