The premise
Here’s the bit.
Jacqueline confesses to Vince that she wants a summer beach day, and she persuades him that two gloomy goths in the sand might finally shock people again. When their hearse dies on the way, the Weirdos hold a solemn farewell for it and take their search for a suitably morbid replacement to a perky car rental clerk, who has no coffin straps but does have a car that came in at the stroke of midnight. At the shore Vince melts in his black clothes until Radu, a sunglasses-wearing stranger from Transylvania, dresses him in surf brands from his trunk, and the couple end up playing football with the beachgoers and planning a return trip.
