The premise
Here’s the bit.
The ghost of Susan Monroe appears at Allison DuBois's bedside with every detail of her own murder, from the killer's name and the exact time to her street address and driving directions. Allison's husband Joe shrugs off the vision, and District Attorney DeVallos meets each fact with the same blank confusion and refuses to send anyone. Susan duly returns as a ghost, now murdered, and hands over the next victim's details complete with printed directions. Even after confirming the first killing, the DA still wants hard evidence, so Allison reminds him that her dreams are right every week and plugs the show's Monday time slot. Soon the newly dead preschool teacher joins Susan to berate Allison and warn that her husband will strangle her the next time she wakes him, and Allison's panicked wake-up call ends in a screaming match in bed.
