Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Seven hours into MADtv's broadcast of Macy's 297th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade, Al Roker is far more interested in his co-host Jennifer Love Hewitt's low-cut sweater than in the balloons, offering her his scarf to cover up. Guest commentator Kim Jong-il, in New York on Broadway tickets Saddam Hussein couldn't use, piles on with leering cleavage jokes, demands high fives, mangles the name of Hewitt's show and threatens to screen her films for his prisoners. Between brags about missing nukes and life in North Korea, the dictator reveals he has smuggled his own missiles into the parade before the hosts stumble toward a commercial break.

Say it with us
Highly quotable.
I hate America, but I love a parade.
We don't have Thanksgiving in North Korea, you dum-dum.
I need something to torture my prisoners.
A little extra
Notes from the archive.
Part of MADtv's 2006 Thanksgiving episode (season 12, episode 6), which also featured Britney Spears and Kevin Federline filming themselves cooking Thanksgiving dinner.
