The premise
Here’s the bit.
Backstage at MADtv, Alex Borstein introduces five flamboyantly dressed musicians making their American debut. Their cheerful answers turn a simple chat about their band name, music and shifting romantic partnerships into a bewildering interview, while the two women compete for attention. Alex retreats to present the performance, and the band takes the stage with matching costumes, keyboards and an exuberant pop routine.
