I Know What You Did Last Christmas
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
In this claymation parody preview, the usual slasher-movie trailer beats play out in a holiday snow globe. Motorists on Christmas Eve 1997 collide with Santa and his reindeer, then try to hide the evidence. A year later a mysterious gift card signals that someone knows the secret, and the narrator's warnings keep twisting familiar carols into threats. One by one the guilty are stalked through living rooms and snowy streets, while the trailer's ad copy tosses in jokes about its own ratings and its star. Santa-themed signs and a menacing snowman supply the closing scares.
Say it with us
Highly quotable.
I know what you did last Christmas.
Wow, there really is a Santa Claus. Correction, was a Santa Claus.
He knows when you've been naughty, he knows when you've been nice, and he knows when you've dumped his mangled body in a lake.
