The premise
Here’s the bit.
Mr Mann enters Roy's newsagent looking for specialist reading about troublesome feet. His list of obscure publications sends Roy to consult the unseen Margaret and search an increasingly unlikely section of the racks. Even a seemingly suitable magazine fails the customer's exacting requirements, and a familiar celebrity title gives Roy another brief moment of false hope.
