Kenny Craig: Scrabble
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
The narrator introduces St Mohammed's hospital, where stage hypnotist Kenny Craig is visiting his elderly mother and losing to her at Scrabble. Short of a good play, he puts down a made-up word and insists it means something like a cupboard. When his mother reaches for the dictionary, he puts her under with his trademark eye-gazing routine and snaps her back convinced the word is genuine, earning himself a healthy score. A nurse stops by, jokingly mistakes Kenny for Mrs Craig's young boyfriend and then questions the invented word too, so Kenny hypnotises her as well, slipping in some unsolicited advice about her failed joke while she is under. Once she comes round, the nurse cheerfully agrees with Mrs Craig that he can't really hypnotise anyone, leaving Kenny deflated.

Highly quotable.
Yes, it is. It means cupboard-like.
By the way, you did the toy boy gag last week and it didn't work then. If I were you, I'd drop it.
