The PM's New Look

Sebastian Love arrives at Number 10 with the Chancellor's draft budget, only to find the Prime Minister has come back from his holiday with a new moustache. Sebastian is appalled and grumbles that it would tickle, which the PM points out is irrelevant since the two of them will not be kissing. The PM's wife Sarah drops in, adores the new look and asks Sebastian's opinion, and he warns that the voters will turn against it; the PM insists people vote for his policies rather than his face. After Sarah leaves with a kiss that prompts Sebastian to tell them to get a room, the PM proposes clearing his diary so he and Sebastian can work through the budget together, but Sebastian sulkily claims not to care any more. Unfazed, the PM sends for another aide, Gregory, instead and mentions that, with Sarah away, he had planned a working weekend at Chequers. Sebastian's sulk collapses at once, just as Gregory strolls in and compliments the moustache.
