The premise

Here’s the bit.

Beats & Rice, the hip-hop group of Sam.I.Am, Scuba and Lemon Lime, rails against the system in a gritty protest video until label boss Jason signs them and swears the message will stay untouched. He immediately adds a new singer, Lady D.I.Y., and turns their anthem into a cell-phone plan commercial, then replaces Lemon Lime with the shirtless Remon Rhyme for a sexed-up workout video. With the money gone, the mansion foreclosed and the whole band hooked on drugs, Jason pitches one last untapped market, small children, and the group's final release is a psychedelic potty-training song featuring a puppet called Space Baby, ending in an explosion while Sam.I.Am is still asking what the message is.
