The premise

Here’s the bit.

An eager traveler expects his group-one ticket to get him onto a flight quickly. The gate agent instead calls a growing list of privileged passengers, increasingly specific exceptions and even a celebrity. As everyone else boards, the traveler’s frustration becomes another reason to exclude him. A later rescue scene reveals that the same priorities survive a much more urgent situation.
