The premise
Here’s the bit.
Kevin the Teenager has been hogging the living-room television all evening, and when his parents finally claim the remote for the news he sulks on the sofa and drowns them out with a noisy handheld game. Fed up, his father sits down beside him and calmly launches into a frank fatherly talk about sex and contraception, complete with a condom for demonstration. Kevin squirms, groans and protests in mounting horror until he bolts from the room, leaving his parents to settle back contentedly in front of the news.
