Salmon
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Something has gone terribly wrong at Harold's salmon farm, though nobody can say exactly what. His wife frets, Mavis heads off to round up the boys, and a visiting friend lectures everyone on salmon varieties. Then a cowboy-hatted captain who deals in trout arrives, mocking the farm's troubles, pushing trout sticks and offering to buy the place before giving Harold a day to get his unruly salmon under control. Doubts turn to suspicion when someone in Harold's own camp starts arguing that trout makes a lot of sense, and the melodrama builds to accusations, a dying man naming the culprit and a final freeze on the stunned family. The cast plays it as a full-tilt daytime-drama parody, with stabbing music stings and the word salmon repeated until it becomes absurd.

Say it with us
Highly quotable.
Why this? Why now? Why salmon?
You ever seen a salmon run out of town on a rail? Not pretty.
If salmon farming were easy, we'd all do it.
The rabbit hole continues
One more couldn’t hurt.
