Haunted Heed
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Peter unwraps a birthday gift from Scott and is baffled to find a hat, since he never wears one. Scott reluctantly explains that Peter's hairline is retreating, and the more Peter insists his hair is as thick as his dad's, the more Scott piles on: the pub has a nickname for his thinning, see-through scalp, and a barmaid has compared it to a dandelion clock. Peter accuses Scott of sabotaging his birthday and rejects the present, then quietly pulls the hat on and walks out anyway, insisting it is only because it is cold outside.

Highly quotable.
See if you shine a light through your hair, mate. It goes all translucent like a ghost.
That's what they call you down the pub, mate. Haunted heed.
His heed looks like a grey dandelion, man.
