The premise

Here’s the bit.

An estate agent points out the advantages of a house to a married couple, but the husband is more concerned with fitting tracks for the trolley on which he transports his wife. The staircase prompts a practical suggestion from the agent that the couple find surprisingly difficult to grasp. An attempt to proceed without the trolley settles the matter.

Highly quotable.

I don't understand the question, sorry.

I think we'll stick with the trolley.
