The premise

Here’s the bit.

Miss Fingerly's grammar lesson keeps getting interrupted as Harvey Baxter's hand pounds his desk, smacks his own face and yanks at his classmate Rita's hair. Harvey insists the hand is haunted, but the teacher dismisses the idea and calls him up to the chalkboard, where the hand swats her backside and scrawls an insulting claim about her diet. Out of patience, Miss Fingerly sends Rita for a pair of hedge clippers and gets rid of the troublesome hand, tossing it out the window, only for it to return for one last slap.

Highly quotable.

Oh, I'm sorry, Miss Fingerly, but it seems my hand is haunted.

I didn't slap your rear. It was my haunted hand that did.

Now, let's get back to today's lesson before things get really out of hand.
