The premise
Here’s the bit.
Trina arrives at a civil hearing seeking payment for upholstery work, but the judge, lawyers and court staff are delighted to discover an all-Black female courtroom. Lunch invitations, hair compliments and a group selfie keep interrupting the proceedings. When the attorneys finally present their competing pictures of the furniture, an Instagram post exposes the defense’s doctored evidence. Trina learns she has won and joins the celebration, which soon attracts a visitor from another courtroom.
