A disgruntled customer settles at a bar to complain about his wife. The barman keeps him supplied with drinks, snacks and small comforts, but times each offer to fill a gap in the customer's sentence. An unhappy account of his marriage turns into a stream of accidental innuendo, growing more explicit as the refreshments become increasingly unlikely. The customer carries on with his grievances until, when ordering one last drink, he finally adopts the barman's approach himself.
