Island Boys

The Kids in the Hall
SKETCH-O-VISION
A VERY GOOD USE OF YOUR TIME.

The setup

A lifelong boy would rather ace a trivia quiz than pass his island’s dangerous tests of manhood.

The premise

Here’s the bit.

Two brothers argue in a beach hut about stolen money, unfinished work and the duties of island life. One defends the community’s rites of manhood; the other has spent decades failing them and proposes a test better suited to his movie knowledge. As his brother prepares to fish for sharks, the reluctant candidate makes a case for living like a tourist instead.
