The premise

Here’s the bit.

When Ian wraps up his presentation by mispronouncing the letter H, his boss Tony shoots him on the spot and reminds everyone that it is his company. Each colleague who objects stumbles over another word and suffers the same fate, until Luke asks why Tony cannot simply sack people instead. Tony admits he loses his temper around the ignorant, but when Luke questions his choice of plural, Tony turns the gun on himself, then rallies just long enough to punish one last pronoun error.

    Ian

Which means a better outcome for everyone. Ladies and gentlemen, that concludes my presentation on the Healthy Homes and Hospitals Programme, or H-H-H. Any questions?

  2. 00:18

    Tony

How do you say your acronym again?

  3. 00:20

    Ian

    It's H-H-H.

  4. 00:24

    Tony

    I thought so.

  5. 00:26

    It's so

  6. 00:35

    Colleague ?

bloody hell you just shot Ian.

  7. 00:39

    Tony

    It's pronounced H, not H-H. H.

  8. 00:42

    Colleague ?

You can't shoot him just for that.

  9. 00:44

    Tony

I just did. Anyway, it's my company. I can do what I like.

  10. 00:47

    Colleague

But we all signed the No Bullying in the Workplace Pledge, which pacifically bans physical violence.

  11. 00:53

    Tony

    What did you say?

  12. 00:55

    Colleague

I said it pacifically bans physical violence.

  13. 00:58

    Tony

It's specifically, with an S, specifically.

  14. 01:02

    Luke

Bloody Bloody hell, Tony. Will you stop shooting people for saying things wrong?

  15. 01:09

    Tony ?

    You, what are you drinking?

  16. 01:11

    Coffee Drinker

    Coffee.

  17. 01:13

  19. 01:17

    Tony

    The word is espresso.

  20. 01:20

    Luke

    Stop it, Tony!

  21. 01:21

    Tony

Oh, come on, Luke, you know very well I killed my own wife for ironically saying mispronunciation. If I apply rigorous standards at home, I see no reason why the same standards shouldn't apply in the workplace.

  22. 01:31

    Luke

Why do you have to shoot them? Why can't you just sack them?

  23. 01:34

    Tony

Oh, I never thought of that. Yes, I suppose I could. It's just the red mist tends to descend whenever I'm confronted with ignorami.

  24. 01:45

    Luke

Actually, Tony, I think you'll find it's ignoramuses.

  25. 01:49

    Tony ?

    What?

  26. 01:50

    Luke

It's from the Latin, we are ignorant. That makes it a verb, not a noun.

  27. 01:54

    Tony ?

Oh, no. What about a down?

  28. 02:05

    Luke

Blimey. At least that'll stop him shooting whoever he likes.

  29. 02:08

    Tony

    it's It's whomever.
