Boot Sale: Narnia Wardrobe: Part II
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
Back at the car boot sale, the couple who stepped into the antique wardrobe come out again in crowns, chain mail and royal cloaks, remembering years of just rule, battles that were always won and a little talking mouse for a servant. The stallholder is unmoved and simply restates his price, with free delivery thrown in. The wife is keen to say yes, but the husband stalls, admitting that for all its charms Narnia is a bit nice and a bit Christian for his taste, and he proposes going back to look at a leather sofa instead. She protests as he strides off, while the stallholder pulls a sour face and the wife is left looking stunned.

Say it with us
Highly quotable.
We were in Narnia for years and years, and we became king and queen.
I had a little mouse who was my servant who could speak.
It's a bit Christian.
