The premise

Here’s the bit.

Things get heated when two men (Martin Short and Mikey Day) try to park in the same spot at the same time. What starts as a verbal argument quickly escalates into increasingly creative and ridiculous physical gestures, hand signals, and sign language as they communicate through their car windows. The confrontation grows more absurd as their family members join in from their respective vehicles, including Chloe Fineman. The sketch reaches its comedic peak when Melissa McCarthy appears as Mikey's mother, licking the car window and delivering an intense Jurassic Park-style stare-down that causes visible breaking from the cast members.

Notes from the archive.

Melissa McCarthy's surprise cameo appearance was particularly standout, causing cast members Mikey Day and Chloe Fineman to nearly break character. The sketch features creative and accurate use of American Sign Language, with Mikey Day's sign for "bullcrap" noted by deaf viewers as being spot-on ASL. Extremely popular with viewers: 2.8+ million views and 56,360+ likes within days of posting. Multiple YouTube commenters called this one of the best SNL sketches in years. Features physical comedy reminiscent of Chris Farley's style. McCarthy wore an American flag shirt and had a "Karen haircut" for her character.
