The premise
Here’s the bit.
An announcer hypes a new season of Love Craft, a romance series set aboard the SS Venus. A wealthy American divorcee warns her daughter to keep away from the crew, but Captain Alki Stereopolis is soon flirting with both of them and inviting them to his table, breaking off only to yell at a passenger in the pool. At dinner he brushes aside requests for fine cuisine, pushes drinks on the pair and launches into boisterous Greek-style revelry and dancing. By nightfall he proclaims himself married to the horrified mother while his two sailors cheerfully throw the daughter over the rail.
