Cherry Battle

Two elaborately robed competitors face each other on a dark stage and begin trading cherries by mouth. Their increasingly elaborate volleys get the dramatic close-ups and slow motion of an epic duel, even as the feat remains stubbornly ridiculous. One airborne cherry acquires a face and its own soaring musical moment, only to tumble to the floor. After a final tense exchange of looks, the rivals bow and bring the encounter to a ceremonious end.
