The premise
Here’s the bit.
After Richard loses an arm in an accident, Douglas ends their longtime tennis partnership while insisting the problem is a difference in playing philosophy. His new partner Skip arrives with three arms, making the excuse difficult to defend. Richard counters with Toby, a seven-armed player returning from a decade at an Alaskan cannery. The increasingly hostile exchange ends with two extravagantly equipped doubles teams heading to opposite sides of the court.
