Architect Norman Hammill presents plans for a new building, but his insistence on a stool for the elevator operator makes property owner Sydney balk. What starts as a small design disagreement becomes a struggle over whether a worker should be allowed to sit, with the other men trying to keep the meeting moving. Norman and Sydney grow so stubborn that they end up wrestling on the office floor. The elevator operator eventually arrives to find the supposedly professional discussion in disarray.
