The premise

An effusive customer carefully explains why one ornament has captured his heart. The delighted shopkeeper listens as he weighs the charms of the surrounding souvenirs and settles on an elaborate fish-shaped ashtray. Once the sale is complete, the customer’s devotion turns abruptly into disgust.
