The premise

Here’s the bit.

An officer confronts a soldier, removes his cap, and tears at his uniform. He takes the soldier’s sword and tries to break it across his knee. The blade curls back into the officer’s own midsection, turning the display of authority into a self-inflicted disaster. The soldier responds with a salute.
