Lou and Andy: Opera
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
In the little town of Herby, Lou brings Andy his milk and spreads the local paper's theatre adverts in front of him so his friend can choose a birthday trip to a London show. Lou steers him towards a family musical and its star, but Andy jabs a finger at the Royal Opera House listing every time, even after Lou warns him that La Traviata is an opera and the tickets cost a fortune. Lou gives in, and the pair end up in an ornate opera box, Lou in a dinner jacket peering through opera glasses while Andy sits in his vest with his milk, staring blankly as the soprano sings.

Highly quotable.
That's the Royal Opera. I don't think you'll enjoy that.

Notes from the archive.
Lou and Andy appeared in every episode of the Little Britain television series except the pilot. Their names come from two characters in a Rock Profile sketch, said to be Lou Reed and Andy Warhol.
