The premise
Here’s the bit.
On the split-screen debate show Diametrically Opposed, the night's question is whether Barack Obama's presidency is a success or a failure. Two pundits, one in a brown wig and one in grey hair and glasses, talk over each other at full volume, each insisting the other has it all wrong while citing the very same evidence: Obamacare enrollment, the auto and bank bailouts, and their effect on the economy. They arrive at an identical verdict at the same moment, fall into an awkward silence, and confirm that both are Republicans. The host then turns to the camera to apologize for the booking error and promise better guest choices in the future.
