The setup

The premise
Here’s the bit.
On the drive to a downtown conference, a businessman grows convinced that his chauffeur is only humoring him, since every remark about his market-research presentation comes back as a cheerful echo of whatever he just said. He starts testing the theory with increasingly unhinged claims about stripping naked on stage, urinating in front of the audience and massacring the attendees, and the driver keeps nodding along without missing a beat, even returning a Nazi salute. When they pull up to the building the passenger climbs out, satisfied he has proved his point, until the driver calls after him with some practical advice on carrying out the killings, revealing he heard every word and is far more dangerous than his fare.
