The setup
The premise
Amy and three classmates wait by the studio window, chatting about almond butter and cage-free eggs, until they spot dancers leaving the strip club opposite. They wonder aloud what went wrong in the strippers' lives, decide the dancers must have bad relationships with their fathers, praise themselves for valuing more than their bodies and work themselves up to the edge of tears. Then their male instructor arrives, insults them all and orders everyone onto their poles for a body pole pump class.

How do you even become a stripper?
