The premise

Here’s the bit.

On the political program Washington Journal, the anchor sits down with North Korea's ambassador to ask whether the two countries are headed for war, relying on interpreter Bae Sung to carry the conversation. Instead of translating, Bae Sung acts out baffling charades of pies, cow noises and popping sounds while the anchor's patience runs out. When the ambassador realizes his interpreter has no grasp of Korean, he erupts in insults, and the anchor abandons diplomacy with a bleak one-line summary of nuclear war before signing off.

Bottom line, North Korea launches a missile our way. We launch one theirs. Everybody dies. Good night.
