The premise

Here’s the bit.

A prosecutor builds her insider-trading case by reading the defendants' text messages to the court, but the two colleagues kept interrupting their own scheme to mock a coworker's fedora with safari flaps. As the readings continue, the evidence turns into a detailed account of Brian refusing to take the hat off in a meeting, spilling water on his laptop and snagging the flap on a wheelchair, while Brian himself sits in the gallery wearing the hat and growing more agitated with every message.
