The premise
Here’s the bit.
Outside a supermarket, a little-known royal couple are asked for change for a cup of tea. Since they never carry money, they insist they share his plight, then assume he is sleeping out for an award scheme, admire his patch of pavement and his scruffy dog, suggest he cook the local pigeons and wonder aloud whether he has flowers for them, before heading off to their club envious of his chance for a nap.
