The premise

Here’s the bit.

Denise drags herself into the office in sunglasses after a night out with visiting friends, insisting she can tough out the day just as she did in her twenties. Her coworkers warn her that a hangover after forty is a different beast, and they are proved right as her determination unravels: she has to be mummified in cold paper towels, wolfs down greasy food and drink mix, gives a meeting presentation in a paper-towel hood, collapses over a filing cabinet and snaps at anyone who asks her to do actual work, before admitting how little she drank.

Highly quotable.

Sweetie, when you hit forty, your body's just not the same.

This 40+ hangover is not going to get the best of me.

Do you want me to continue all over this goddamn floor?
