Behind the running joke
A little backstory.
Bristol teenager Vicky Pollard (Matt Lucas), in her trademark pink tracksuit, is caught out by teachers, shopkeepers, officials and anyone else in her way, and answers every challenge with a high-speed torrent of irrelevant gossip, usually opening with "No, but, yeah, but...". She appears in all three television series of Little Britain.
