Behind the running joke
A little backstory.
A tiny version of actor Dennis Waterman (David Walliams) visits his theatrical agent Jeremy Rent (Matt Lucas), who offers him acting parts that Dennis will only accept if he can also write and sing the theme tune. Ordinary objects handed across the desk are dwarfed by or tower over Dennis. The segment began on the Little Britain radio series and ran through the first two television series.
