More to the story.
Uncle Gruesome is Ernie Kovacs's fanged, wild-haired horror storyteller, who greets the "kiddies" and tells ghoulish versions of familiar fairy tales. George Fiala created the makeup for the character on Kovacs's NBC morning show (December 1955 to July 1956), and an April 1956 episode showed it being removed after parents reported frightened children.
One great character.
A whole cast to discover.
