Life as a Mass Murderer
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
A man in a bathrobe pours coffee and settles down to explain the frustrations of being a mass murderer. He treats killing as an ordinary occupation, discussing its workload, the temptation to seek publicity and the boredom that sets in with repetition. A chance meeting with an old school friend makes him question his future and consider returning to college. He finishes by opening a newspaper that puts his casual breakfast conversation in a darker light.
