The Butler and the Maid

Lanscroft and Evelyn are so pampered that their butler and maid cut, feed and wipe for them at dinner. When suspicion about each other's affairs sours the meal, the couple decide to fight by proxy, ordering the servants to deliver the slaps, insults and tantrums for them. The staff take ever more punishment as the feud escalates, until a pair of mock suicides leaves both servants slumped on the table while their reconciled employers walk off arm in arm.
