The Identity Killer
The setup
The premise
Here’s the bit.
At a police press conference, an inspector explains that the latest murder is the work of the so-called Identity Killer, who signs each crime by leaving personal documents behind, and he puzzles over clues such as a string of numbers written beside the word MOB, which he suspects points to organised crime. At the woodland crime scene, a young detective reports that this time the killer has left only a passport photo and some utility bills, and the victim is wearing a T-shirt printed with the murderer's picture. A video camera is still recording on a tripod beside the body, but the inspector waves away the idea of watching footage of a named man at his full home address committing the murder, insisting that the police can only wait for the killer to slip up.

All he's left this time is a passport-sized photograph and two recent utility bills.

So the killer has a calling card
- 00:20
Inspector
I suppose you could say that yes Well on this occasion it was a calling card On previous occasions, he's been known to leave his birth certificate, the address of his MySpace page, and on one occasion, a series of unconnected numbers next to the three-letter word mob. So, we're looking into the possibility that there may be connections with organised crime.
