The premise

Here’s the bit.

After mocking a driver who spills his drink, a woman suffers an extravagant accident of her own. On a bicycle ride, laughing at her friend’s fall brings another painful reversal. Injured and resting on a park bench, she briefly tries kindness, then lets a generous serving of ice cream revive her smug streak. The final punishment arrives from above.
